Aetherdrift Sunday Two-Headed Giant Prerelease

Start your engines for a high-octane death race across the Multiverse! Swerve through three planes of mayhem, dodging dangerous obstacles and rival racers along the way. Crew up unique vehicles and mounts as you discover which racing team best suits your style, then hit max speed to claim the gold.

You’ll experience the thrill of opening Aetherdrift cards for the first time with other Magic players who enjoy the game just as much as you. Everything you’ll need to play will be provided as part of your entry fee—you simply show up and play!

Prereleases are Sealed Deck format events, where you build a minimum 40-card minimum deck using the contents of a themed Prerelease Pack.  For Two-Headed Giant players pool their cards together to build a 40 card minimum deck for each teammate.

After you build your decks, you’ll be randomly paired with another team for a best two-of-three match. Each round you’ll report who won and be paired up with a different team.  Each team starts with 30 life and teams play through the phases of the game at the same time.

Aetherdrift Prerelease Pack contents:

• 6 Aetherdrift Play Boosters; each Play Booster contains 14 Magic cards
• 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
• 1 deck box
• 1 Spindown die

Registration for this event closes at 5 pm and will get started shortly thereafter.  For each person who enters the tournament we will add 2 play booster packs of Aetherdrift to the prize pool.  Each person is guaranteed at least one booster pack if they finish the event.

The entry fee for the event is $40 per player ($80 per team).
