Commander is a casual format that is typically played with more than two players. To build a Commander deck a player must first select their commander card. The commander card must be a Legendary Creature or one of the 5 special Planeswalker commanders. Then the player builds a 99 card deck using cards that contain only the mana types of their commander and only one of each card excluding basic lands.
